Patrice Savoie is Co-Executive Director and Administrative Director of Les Violons du Roy, which he joined in April 2017. Since 2021, he is also a member of Orchestras Canada’s Advocacy Committee. 

Recent artistic programming clearing shows that since his appointment as Co-Executive Director Patrice Savoie favours having bold cultural interactions and several solid partnerships with other Quebec cultural organizations. On the international level, he cooperates on tour development in North America, Europe and Asia. 

Mr. Savoie has participated actively in developing Les Violons du Roy’s 2021-2025 strategic plan. He ratified the new 2021-2025 collective agreement with the Guilde des musiciens et musiciennes du Québec and was actively involved in negotiations with the Union des Artistes leading to the signing of the very first collective agreement with this group. He has also made a tremendous contribution to rebranding efforts, strategic marketing moves and development of the new website.  He is regularly involved in public and private fundraising activities to ensure the organization’s sustainability and also takes an active part in the business of the Violons du Roy Foundation to increase its capital significantly. 

Mr. Savoie holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Laval University with a major in finance, and has been a CPA since 2010.
