International auditions are scheduled for May 12-14, 2026
The 2026/27 forty-three week season includes a weekly scale fee of $2,529.77. Five of these weeks are paid non-service weeks, with one additional vacation week and 2 string relief weeks.
Other benefits: Long-term disability insurance, sick leave, 10% CFM-Musicians Pension Fund of Canada contribution.
Candidates are required to apply through Muvac, which involves creating a free profile. When you submit your TSO audition application, you will be prompted to submit valid credit card information for a $100 (CDN) refundable application deposit. Your card will only be charged in the case of a no-show or a late cancellation.
Please note, applicants may be required to submit a supplementary recording as part of their application. Those applicants who are required to submit a recording will be informed shortly after the application deadline.
